Recently, travelers' laptops have been infected with malicious software while using hotel Internet connections. In these instances, the traveler was attempting to set up the hotel room Internet connection and was presented with a pop-up window notifying the user to update a widely used software product. If the user clicked to accept and install the update, malicious software was installed on the laptop.

Do you sometimes struggle to read the small text of emails? This problem can be easily solved in a couple of ways. First, you can use a system-wide zoom feature to come in closer to a program or item on the screen. If you're using Windows 7 or Vista, for example, you can use the Magnifier tool by pressing the Windows key and "+" to zoom in. On a Mac, go to System Preferences, then Universal Access, and check "On" under Zoom.
